Aluminium composite panel is the structural backbone of modern facades and sign trays: two aluminium skins over a polyethylene core, 3 or 4 mm, flat as a machine table and rigid enough to span without a frame. It routs, folds and screws; the PE core is the standard choice indoors and sheltered outdoors, with fire-rated cores specified where regulations call for them.

Pairing matters. ACP takes vinyl overlays and cut lettering; PVC foam builds the letter bodies; acrylic makes the faces; reflective sheeting handles the road-side jobs. Because all of it leaves one factory, the colour batch of a vinyl matches the sheet it lands on - the kind of detail nobody notices until it is wrong.
