banner

Banner material carries most of the world's large-format outdoor advertising. Jin Yu supplies PVC flex banner, eco-friendly PP banner, flag fabric and printable canvas, in weights and weaves matched to the job - from short-term retail promotions to long-term roadside hoardings.

PVC flex banner remains the workhorse for outdoor hoardings, building wraps and event signage thanks to its tensile strength, weldability and low cost. Eco PP banner is the recyclable alternative for indoor and short-term outdoor use where PVC is restricted. Flag fabric and canvas serve soft signage, beach flags, exhibition backdrops and fine-art reproduction.

All grades are coated for solvent, eco-solvent, UV and latex printing, and are available with matte or gloss surfaces and in widths up to large-format roll sizes. Hemming, welding and eyeleting are straightforward. Custom widths, weights and private-label OEM are available from our Foshan factory, with free samples before bulk orders.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers specific to this product category.

Frontlit, backlit and mesh banner - what is the difference?
Frontlit banner is the standard grade, lit from the front. Backlit banner has a diffusing layer for even illumination from behind in light boxes. Mesh banner has tiny perforations that let wind pass through, making it the choice for scaffolding, fence wraps and building facades.
What weight (gsm) banner do I need?
Around 280-340gsm suits short-term indoor and retail use. 440-510gsm is the standard for outdoor hoardings and building wraps. Above 610gsm is used for long-term, high-wind installations. Higher weight generally means better tear resistance and opacity.
How long does a PVC banner last outdoors?
A properly installed 440gsm frontlit banner typically lasts one to three years outdoors, depending on UV exposure, wind load and whether it is laminated. Print longevity depends mainly on the ink and whether a UV-blocking overlaminate is applied.
Which inks work with your banner material?
Our banner grades are coated for solvent, eco-solvent, UV and latex inks and run on Roland, Mimaki, Mutoh, HP and Epson large-format printers. Tell us your printer model and we will match the grade - free samples are available.
