Product Features
- Impact strength around 20-40 kJ/m2 against 2-3 for acrylic: it deforms and absorbs energy instead of shattering
- Density 1.06 g/cm3 - about 11% lighter than acrylic, and roughly 3x lighter than the same area of 3 mm acrylic
- Thermoforms at about 150-190 C and holds deep draws without the crazing cast acrylic shows under the same heat
- CNC routes, drills and solvent-cements cleanly, and takes paint or electroplating without PMMA's stress cracking
- Not the pick for a backlit face or an unguarded outdoor panel - opaque, and a UV-stable grade is required outdoors
Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene sheet
ABS sheet is an engineering plastic with high impact strength, supplied by Jin Yu Advertising Materials since 2009.
Standard stock: 1-10 mm in 1.22 x 2.44 m. Used for light box housings, printed sign faces and mounting boards. Not the pick for backlit faces or unguarded outdoor panels - ask us about acrylic (PMMA) instead.
